Pirate's softball battled offensively but fell short against Kansas City Kansas Community College despite several strong individual efforts. The Pirates collected four hits in the contest, with Emma Lisenbee, Alex Endicott, Kaylor Hodge, and Cora Thompson each recording a hit. Thompson provided the team's lone RBI and also crossed the plate, finishing 1-for-1 with a walk while adding a stolen base. Ella Barnett also scored a run for the Pirates, while Endicott contributed on the basepaths with a stolen base and a sacrifice. Myla Laws added a sacrifice to move a runner, helping generate scoring opportunities as NCMC worked to manufacture offense throughout the game.
GAME 2:
The North Central Missouri College softball team tallied four hits but fell to KCKCC. Trinity Alderman and Cora Thompson each scored runs for the Pirates, while Alex Endicott drove in a run with a hit and Kaylor Hodge added an RBI.
