Taylor Francis is a dedicated track and field coach and former standout athlete with a proven record of success both on and off the field. She began her collegiate athletic career at Highland Community College, where she excelled as a pole vaulter, earning Indoor and Outdoor All-American honors as well as Academic All-American recognition for her commitment to excellence in the classroom.
Taylor continued her education at Missouri Western State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Personal Commercial Fitness and a Master’s degree in Sport and Fitness Management. Her passion for athletics and sport science drives her coaching philosophy, emphasizing both physical performance and holistic athlete development.
From 2023 to 2025, Taylor returned to Highland Community College as a track and field coach, leading her athletes to impressive achievements including 13 Indoor All-Conference honors and 16 Outdoor All-Conference honors. Under her guidance, her teams secured multiple Region 6 runner-up finishes and KJCCC East Champions. She has also coached four athletes to top-10 national performances, including one All-American athlete.
Taylor’s expertise and dedication continue to inspire athletes to reach their full potential, blending her firsthand competitive experience with a strong academic foundation and a passion for fostering athletic excellence.
