Pirates Put Together Impressive Road Win Over Allen County CC

North Central Missouri College men's basketball put together one of its most complete efforts of the season, using balanced scoring, strong ball movement, and a commanding edge on the glass to defeat Allen County CC 92–73 on the road Friday night.

 

Camden Bennett led the way with a team-high 22 points, attacking the rim all night and finishing an impressive 10-of-11 at the free-throw line. Bennett also added seven rebounds and five assists, playing a key role on both ends of the floor.

 

In the frontcourt, James Porter III delivered a standout performance, recording a 14-point, 14-rebound double-double while controlling the interior. Porter grabbed eight offensive boards, helping the Pirates to a decisive 19–16 advantage in that category.

 

Camden Brown added 13 points, knocking down both of his attempts from deep and contributing on the defensive end with a steal. Fellow starter Deng Gak turned in another well-rounded night, finishing with 11 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and a block.

 

The Pirates also benefitted from efficient contributions across the bench.

 

Za'Corrie Kerr provided a spark with eight points in 15 minutes.

 

Kalen Streit added five points, six rebounds, and three assists, impacting the game in multiple areas.

 

Cole Johnson made the most of his minute on the floor, scoring a quick bucket, while Jon Jon Neff and Talan Holt combined for seven more points.

 

NCMC shot 45.6% from the field and a sharp 85.7% at the line, while holding Allen County to just 35.1% shooting and under 23% from three.
