Pirates baseball ended their Thursday home scrimmage in a tie with State Fair CC.  Each team had scored a total of 7 runs at the conclusion of 9 innings of play. 

Providing a team high 3 hits for NCMC was Jesus Fonseca.  He also drove in a pair of Pirates including the game's tying run in the bottom of the 9^th inning.  For the fall scrimmage season, Fonseca is batting .350.

On the mound, the Pirates were able to stymie the Road Runner's offense for the majority of the day.  State Fair scored all 7 runs (1 earned) in the top of the 5^th inning when the Pirates defense committed 3 errors.  As a staff, NCMC scattered 10 hits and walked 5 while striking out 8.
