Sophomore forward Maci Moore broke the NCMC women's basketball career rebounds record on Saturday when the Lady Pirate's defeated ASU-Mid South to earn a berth in the NJCAA DII National Tournament. Coming into the game, she needed just 4 rebounds to break the record previously held by Sarah Lamp. Maci now has 680 career rebounds at NCMC ahead of the national tournament.
Head Coach Jenni Croy had these comments about the Trenton native's contributions to her program the past three seasons. "Maci has been a force to reckon with since she stepped on the court here at NCMC. She has a knack for the ball and great hands under the basket. We have been fortunate to have Maci be a part of our program. She's proved to be one of the best post players to ever come through our program."
